Baby Aiah was a healthy child. According to her father, her sickness began during her first birthday on January 21, 2009. Based on clinical descriptions, her disease was acquired, environmental and transmitted disease – airborne. Their neighbors have hog farms and they burnt wires for their personal intention to have money without considering other peoples health.
On April 24, baby Aiah undergone a lung operation. 10 grams mass of her lung was cut. Aiah sustained heavy lung damage and the doctors diagnose her disease with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). During this time, the parents were already drain in terms of financial resources, they were already asking for alms just to survive their daughter’s daily needs of medicines and apparatus requirements.
The following pictures below shows her struggle for survival during her first admission. The poor kid is fighting with what little strength she has.
The pictures below were taken during her second admission. Notice that she had gone quite thin due to her disease. In the following pictures, she was having a fever, compliments of secondary bacterial infection.
The picture below is her latest picture. In this picture, notice that she already has a tracheostomy tube. This was the only way for her to breath since her lungs sustained further damage, an evidence of progression of the disease. Currently, Aiah is scheduled for discharge. Thanks to the donation she acquired from friends, relatives, and some loving folks.
However, it’s not yet over for Baby Aiah. Their bill is already 800 thousand pesos and the billing department were already asking them to provide at least 160k to make a promissory note possible. Their current fund is 40k, and they are begging if there is someone who could donate money to help them suffice for the 160k. Without it, they are more likely to stay longer in the hospital; with their outstanding account bound to increase.
Her maintenance is expected to cost a lot. And her survival clings on what little money they have. Your donation will help prolong baby Aiah’s life. Please help her stay alive.
